The ANZ
Journal of Surgery is the leading publication for surgical research
in Australia and New Zealand. The Journal is published by
Wiley-Blackwell 10 times a year, with an extra supplement in the
May that carries all the abstracts of research papers delivered at
the College's Annual Scientific Congress.
How to access the content
Fellows and Trainees of the College can view the full text of
articles via the College's online library (please log in first).
Members of the public may view article abstracts on the journal
website (a free content section is also available).
Archive and features
The ANZ
Journal of Surgery website has full-text archives back to the
Volume 1 issue 1, from June 1931. Content can also be sorted by
specialty interest and themes.
Among its many features, there are links to the most downloaded
articles, the most cited articles and key articles from the
archives.
The website also offers the full text of Anatomical Abstracts by
Howard Eddey, FRACS, videos on surgical knot tying and suturing
and links to selected Cochrane's Collaboration evidence-based
reviews of interest to surgeons.
