Scholarships
- Margorie Hooper
Scholarship - This opportunity enables the recipient to reside
temporarily outside the State of South Australia, either elsewhere
in Australia or overseas, in order to undertake postgraduate
studies or for surgeons to travel overseas to learn a new surgical
skill for the benefit of the surgical community of South
Australia.
- WG Norman Research
Fellowship - Open to Fellows and surgical Trainees, resident in
South Australia and enrolled in, or intending to enrol in, a higher
degree. The research must be based in South Australia and the topic
should preferably have a trauma focus.

A Fellow is considered active if they are currently involved in
any aspect of surgical activity that involves the use of surgical
skills or knowledge gained through their surgical training. This
extends to and is not exclusive of medico-legal work, research or
supervision of Trainees and International Medical Graduates (IMGs).
