Confirmed key note speakers to date include:

The meeting begins with lunch on Monday 27 August. The content will focus on learning throughout a surigcal career.

Preconference Session - Surgical History

This will be held on the morning of Monday 27 August. The theme is New Zealand surgeons in WW1 and WW2. There will be a separate registration form and programme for this.

The Louis Barnett prize will be awarded on Tuesday 28 August. Abstracts for the Louis Barnett prize closes 12 noon Friday 13 July 2012.

Registration forms and a provisional programme will be posted on the website in late May/early June; and will also be included in the next edition of the Cutting Edge newsletter.

A Fellow is considered active if they are currently involved in any aspect of surgical activity that involves the use of surgical skills or knowledge gained through their surgical training. This extends to and is not exclusive of medico-legal work, research or supervision of Trainees and International Medical Graduates (IMGs).
