The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is a bi-national
organisation administering training, examinations and fellowship
services for surgeons in Australia and New Zealand. The College was
established in 1927, and the first meeting of the College Council
was held in Dunedin, New Zealand, in February 1927.

detailed in ANZ Journal of Surgery articles, books and in a number
of documents and symbols which the College carefully looks
after. |

| The archives of the College document the
history and administration of the College from its inception
in 1927 to the present day. |
| College Collections |
| College Collections at the Melbourne office
and the regional offices contain a number of items of historical
and aesthetic value. |
| College Museum |
| The College Museum, established in a
dedicated space since 2006, has an extensive collection of surgical
instruments |
| College Art Gallery |
| The Art Gallery holds many pieces of art
work and they are displayed all around the Melbourne Office
building. |
